ANZAOMS Research & Education Foundation & Trust

The ANZAOMS Research & Education Foundation & Trust was established in 1996 for the purpose of providing financial assistance for research into oral and maxillofacial surgery to improve the health of the community both in Australia and New Zealand, as well as to encourage overseas lecturers to visit Australia and New Zealand, to aid Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia with surgical education, tours and equipment supplies.

Residents of Australia and New Zealand, or a company incorporated in Australia or New Zealand, may apply to become a member of the ANZAOMS Research & Education Foundation by committing to make a financial contribution to the ANZAOMS Research & Education Trust over a period of 5 years.

All funds contributed through membership or donations are invested and the income derived from investments is used to fund research projects.

To apply for a grant you must be an ANZAOMS member, or a Foundation Member. For group applications, at least 1 member of the group must meet the above requirement. The next funding round opens 1 November 2024.

What is ANZAOMS?

The Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS) is the professional representative organisation for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS).

Our focus is on the advancement, advocacy for, and continuing education of OMS, through engagement with all levels of government, regulators, key public and private stakeholders and the general public.
